POSITION: In-Patient Clinical Pharmacist II

FT (80 Hrs/2 Wks)
Day/Evening w/ every 5-7th weekend and holiday rotation.

The pharmacist in our organization has a wide array of responsibilities relating to direct patient care. Our clinical pharmacy services are greatly valued by our physicians and nursing staff.

It is the expectation of the pharmacist to participate in clinical decision-making, assisting in the development of clinical pathways, and provide pharmacy, nursing and physician education. This position is best served by a highly motivated individual with strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to work independently to initiate and lead clinical projects. Approximately 50% of the Pharmacists time will be spent on clinical projects. The other 50% will be spent on the patient care unit or within the pharmacy. The pharmacist is responsible for the daily operation of the pharmacy and supervising and coordination activities of the pharmacy support staff in respect to accurate and efficient medication dispensing, maintaining records, inventory, and security.
